After we dried off and sat down the staff promptly began serving our lunch of chicken and beef fajitas, grilled vegetables with a side salad. Lets not forget the fresh guacamole and chips and that they always offered a refill before my cup could become empty! Just about the time we were finishing our lunch we were arriving at Isla Mujeres (the island of women) for some shopping and sight-seeing. We decided to rent a golf cart to cover as much ground as possible in two hours.

It took a little less than an hour to get back to Cancun, but it could have been the most fun of the cruise party! We danced and drank and danced a little more. The staff on the Dancer Catamaran is so funny. They had us dress in wigs and funny hats as we danced the YMCA and did the limbo.

#1 Rated Golf Learning Package for 2011
The clear winner from all of our evaluations was a product called the Simple Golf Swing. This one is mainly an eBook package, but it does come with some videos that add to what is taught.

As the title suggests, The Simple Golf Swing focuses on improving your swing by simplifying everything. It walks you step-by-step through gripping the club, to pulling back, and ultimately hitting the ball the right way. The package also comes with some bonus books that added a lot of value to the package.

On the sales page they advertise that they will lengthen your drive, and cut your handicap by 7 to 12 strokes in just two weeks. With our evaluations, all of our testers did experience that success and actually beat it by a long shot.

With the eBook, and video course, you will improve your game. To add to that though, the package also comes with several other well focused books on chipping, putting, sand wedges, and it even includes some apprentice sheets to track your improvement.

Put simply, this learning package worked better to improve the games of all of those who used it, and it provided more value for the money than any other package on the list.

From that, we are giving The Simple Golf Swing the award for being the best:

December Update: I’ve just learned that The Simple Golf Swing is being offered with some additional bonuses for only $47. I’ve been told that this offer won’t last long, and that soon the package will go back up to its original $94 price tag. If you’ve been looking to improve your game, now is the time!

In Summary: All the testers who used The Simple Golf Swing had noticable improvements to their handicap. This one package included more content, had better focus, and simply worked better than any of the others we tested. We are recommending this one to everyone who needs to improve their golf game.

2. How to Break 80

In second place we have a program called How to Break 80. This one performed almost as well as our award winner. But, it wasn’t quite as focused, and it didn’t provide as much value for the money.

Much like our top pick, How to Break 80 focuses on simplifying the game and breaking it down into small and easily learned steps. The material this one teaches is actually laid out quite well. The eBook walks you through various aspects of the game, and the included software helps you to track your progress as you improve.

On the value side of things, How to Break 80 doesn’t include as many add-ons as our winner did. Having said that, the software that is included did add enough value to put it in a solid second place.

All in all I would recommend this one. The people who used it in our evaluations did improve their game. However, I would make this one my second choice and get The Simple Golf Swing First.

3. Golf Fitness Guide

Here’s one that I’m actually surprised to see in our top five, and what do you know – it took third place!

Our third pick is a product called the Golf Fitness Guide. Now, the odd thing with this one, is that it isn’t specifically a Golf Learning package. It won’t teach you how to improve your swing, to rid yourself of that slice (some of the bonus eBooks do). Instead this one focuses on getting fit with exercises that improve your golf game.

Personally I would never have thought that a golf-focused exercise program would make the top picks. But, it did! And, those who went through this program really enjoyed it. Their games didn’t improve quite as much as with the first couple products on our list, but they did improve.
If you only plan to buy one guide, I’d choose the top two first. If you wanted to add a little fun to your learning as well, this is a great add-on to take you further and add some enjoyment to your learning at the same time.

Golf Slice Cure

4. Instant Golf Slice Cure

Taking fourth place is a product called Instant Golf Slice Cure. As the title suggests, it focuses on curing that horrible slice.The book itself isn’t bad, and with the evaluators who learned with it they did at least better their slice. Where this one falls short is with value.

At $47, the package simply doesn’t provide enough value for your money. There are no bonus books, no software items (as all of our top three had), and nothing else. Your fifty bucks gets you a book that talks about the problem of a slice when you golf.

Having said that, for golfers who do have a bad slice, this one may be worth your time. For most others, you will likely be better off with our top two products which would work to help with slices by simplifying your swing.

5. Renegade Mental Golf

The last product to make out top five is a called Renegade Mental Golf. This one focuses on improving your game by having the right mind-set. I actually laughed when this one was in the group of packages to test, but now I am forced to admit that it worked well enough to take 5th spot.

For those looking to really improve their game, the first products that I listed will help you more. With this one though, it is an excellent read, and it will teach you a few things about how your thinking can affect your game.

Those who used this one did experience improvements in their handicaps. For most who read this though, the top two on our list are better choices. Save this one for another day when you need something new and interesting to read.
