AT&T announces job openings
in greater L.A. region
about 350 new positions have opened in greater Los Angeles AT&T retail stores, the company said this week, in order to expand customer support for wireless and TV service offerings. Stores with job openings include those in Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga and Victorville.
Open positions include retail sales consultants, sales support representatives, finance representatives, assistant store managers, retail store managers and sales executives. The communications company also said there are more than 200 jobs available in Northern California.
Interested job seekers can go to www.att.jobs to find a position and apply.
Loma Linda chamber to sponsor
golf tournament in July
A $10,000 hole-in-one contest is featured at the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce’s 23rd annual Scramble Golf Tournament.
The July 18 event also will award three additional prize holes. Cost of registration is $125, which covers green fee and cart, awards, dinner, a bag of player gifts and an “opportunity ticket” to win door prizes.
Sponsorships are available for tees, greens and holes. For inclusion in printed materials, contact the chamber by July 8.
The tournament will be at Arrowhead Country Club, 3433 Parkside Drive, in San Bernardino. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Latin America in spotlight
at trade conference
Businesses can learn about opportunities to sell goods to Latin America at The Latin America Connection: An International Trade & Exporting Conference on June 9 at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center.
Latin America is expanding rapidly and holds great potential for business from Southern California, according to event organizers. Attendees will learn about economic activity in the region, exporting to Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, and tips on getting started in exporting.
