A ball with piercing ball flight will probably help in the cold weather. There is little humidity so you won't have trouble getting it up. another type to look at is the spinny-kind; one that spins a lot. Since the greens are firm when cold, extra spin with the ball would be nice for those shots that stop next to the hole.

you will gain an advantage by playing low compression balls like laddie, solo, mojo…. or play prov1, it is the softest urethane ball.

Same ones you play them in warm weather- just tuck them under your arm, or something, to keep them warm from hole to hole.

You will need a soft ball like a taylormade tp or a titleist prov 1.
